Mari is a Norwegian director and writer. In addition to her work as an episode writer and director for the TV-show “VGS” for NRK, she has directed multiple short films, music videos and commercials.

Mari was one of the writers for the 3rd season of the popular Netflix show "Home For Christmas" which premiered in December of ‘25, landing on the list of Top 10 Non-English shows Globally.

As a director Mari's background in acting gives her a unique insight to the work of bringing stories to life in collaboration with her actors. Her films often tackle serious themes, yet her stories are told with warmth and humor, adding her own comedic touch to her storytelling.​​

She is currently developing her debut feature film.
